Classes and Events:
Each class below is assigned a number; that same number will be posted by the sample hanging in the shop. When you come in to register, it will
make it easier to see what will be offered at the class.
1.) Easy Table Runner:
Start and finish a quick table runner in class with Bette. You will need a 12” 60 degree Clearview Triangle Ruler for this class. ($17.95) Min.of 3
people for class to take place. Pick up a supply list when you register.
Fee: $6 plus materials and supplies

6-8 pm May 20th
Level: Beginner
2.) Square Dance Quilt: Join Bette and use up those scraps! This is a project that will use up LOTS of scraps. Stop by the shop to see a
sample and pick up the materials and prep sheet for class. This is a class with a pot luck lunch.
Fee: $25 plus materials and supplies

June Open Sewing Night: Need to get away from the hustle and bustle of your own home in order to get some quilting done? Join Susan
and/or Melissa on June 4th from 11 am-8 pm. There is no fee, but you MUST pre-register.
3.) June Table Runner:
Dress up your table throughout the year with these calendar table runners. 12 great designs featuring super simple piecing and machine appliqué
complete one for each month of the year.
June’s runner is a patriotic theme.
Finished Size 10 1/2" x 40 1/2"
Fee: $10 plus materials and supplies (pattern for year is $13.50)

4.) On a Wing and A Prayer: A large lap throw quilt using log cabin blocks and the On A Wing and A Prayer panel. Stop in to see the
sample.
Fee: $25 plus materials and supplies

Level: Beginner
5.) Charmed Back Pack: Create a fun backpack using charm squares. Great for school, running errands, or a quick lunch in the park!

Class Policies:
1.) All classes held at Seams Like Home Quilt Shop in Sturgeon Lake.
2.) Material and supply lists will be available at registration. Feel free to stop in the shop in advance to choose materials and supplies for all classes.
3.) A 10% discount will be given on all supplies purchased for the class.
4.) Due to copyright laws we ask that you purchase the patterns and books when required for a class.
5.) You must cancel one week prior to the start of the class in order to receive a refund. If a minimum enrollment is required, you will be notified in advance and will receive a
refund.
6.) Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class to set up your sewing area.
7.) Please have a new needle for your machine, a full bobbin, and quality thread.
8.) A ¼” quilters’ presser foot (or piecing foot) for your machine is recommended.
9.) All class fees must be paid in full prior to the beginning of the class.
